Pristine New Zealand Pinot Gris

This pretty little Pinot Gris hails from a selection of sub-regions and vineyard sights on the North Island, in the Gisborne region. 2013 was one of the best vintages Gisborne has seen in years - and you can certainly tell by the quality of this lovely little drop! Full of lush fruit, creamy, delicate texture, and a graceful finish, it's sipping beautifully now, but will see you through 'til spring with ease!

The Bottom Line

  • Gorgeous Gisborne Pinot Gris!
  • Pair with chicken, pork, or fresh prawns!
  • Drinking superbly now but can be cellared for 2-3 years

From the Winemaker: "Kapuka Pinot Gris is produced from a selection of sub-regions and vineyard sites in the Gisborne region, on the east coast of the North Island. These vineyard sites provide a variety of soil types and climatic conditions, giving rise to a wine with an excellent balance of fruit flavours and aromas."

A very pleasant wine. Would be very happy if you could let me know when you have Waipara Hills Pinot Gris/grigio available. It is my favourite Thankyou Jill Allen
