A real winner
You see, behind the scenes here our little wine-bots are busy running around the big fun park called The Internet. Here, we get to see many of the wine deals going around, but thought this one should have your full attention.
Jamieson's Run is one of Australia's best-loved, super value producers. This is their Cabernet Shiraz Merlot, and according to our Internet wine-bots, it's a smooth, ripe fruit flavoured red that is supremely easy to drink, has soft tannins and a long, juicy finish. It is good with BBQs and roast meats, according to humans.
Our bots have also computed this deal. Their assessment is that it is 'A Real Winner' — there is no higher accolade from a robot on the Internet. Therefore, we are politely suggesting from inside your computer that you take up this opportunity; stocks are limited and this excellent wine will run out of the WineMarket winery. Don't make the wine-bots upset; get on board this deal today.
- Purple in colour, the nose exhibits white pepper and blueberry aromas which are enhanced by hints of chocolate and vanilla. Fruit and tannin qualities are finely balanced on a firm, ripe palate.

Fruit parcels were gently fermented for 6 to 8 days, with light aerative
pumpovers. After gently pressing off skins, individual components were
racked and select parcels transferred to spend time on French and
American oak. After ten months maturation, each parcel was tasted,
proportionally blended to produce a soft, finely textured wine with long
dark fruit flavours and a supple fine texure typically found in wines from
the Limestone Coast. |

Fragrant aromas of raspberry, cherry and cinnamon spice, lifted by dark plum and blackcurrant notes. |

| Palate |
Dark berry, cherry plum, raspberry flavours dominate the supple, finely
structured palate. A soft elegant medium bodied wine with good depth of
flavour and a long generous finish. A well balanced and charming regional
blend of the three classic varieties which truly reflect the character of the
Limestone Coast. |

VINTAGE CONDITIONS
In the Limestone Coast the 2009 vintage commenced later than the
previous couple of vintages due to a dry spring, moderate crop yields and
average warm temperatures over the growing season. In January the region
sweltered with nearly a week of record hot temperatures. The large canopies
shaded the fruit, and very little damage was seen; unlike other South
Australian regions. Subsequent cooler weather slowed ripening and ensured
the fruit developed deep colour, moderate tannins, and balanced acid levels.
Wines show bright colour and solid structure and good varietal characters |
