Meet Our Newest Italian Red!

Just arrived from the Adriatic shores of Italy. You know the place on the map, that long “heel” part of the “boot” that is Italy. You might know it as Zinfandel, but before it got to Australia and America it had its time in the Italian sun.

It’s a deep, perfumed, mouth-filling beauty that you’re going to want to get to know. And we reckon this exotic import will be right at home down under.

The Bottom Line

  • Lush and exotic Italian Primitivo

The Puglia region in Italy has been growing this stuff since the 19th Century, so they kind of know what they’re doing. Odds on you’ll taste the difference. Give it a go!

"NIce wine for drinking now"

Hint of everything including honey. Nice and comfortable. However I don't think any cellar worth.

"Attractive wine"

Attractive nose showing black cherry, dark berries, spice and pepper. The palate is soft and savoury, but just lacks a bit of depth and length. Definitely a wine better suited with food than on its own.

"Infinitum Primitivo 2013"

A soft, fruity wine with a clean finish. My partner and I visited Italy many times, and in the south, drank lots of Zinfandel, so besides being a delicious wine, it brought back happy memories.

"Happy with that!"

Very nice, slightly fruity, but still dry red wine from Italy which works perfectly with grilled steaks, tasty salads and Gorgonzola cheese.
