Being Cool Just Got More Affordable
We at WineMarket like to think we are pretty cool dudes. We put on a funky hat and head down to the blue light disco for a boogie once in a while, but our favourite thing that's so-hot-right-now is drinking Barossa Shiraz.
The Barossa once used to have an image of lederhosen-wearing oompah band-loving winemakers, but that has all changed. Barossa is the new black. Luscious red wines full of character and flavour have won over even the most hip of drinkers and suddenly Barossa wine people have fancy haircuts and tight jeans.
Or so the story goes.
Anyway, we're pretty keen on Grant Burge's wines. They have big appeal, lots of juicy fruit and a value that punches well above its weight. This 5G Shiraz is another winner from the big man of the Barossa and shows the hallmark ripe fruit flavours, superbly seasoned oak and a long, fleshy finish. It's got plenty of oomph but not enough to knock your designer socks off, just enough to remind you your drinking quality Barossa Shiraz.
We found this as a failed export order so we pegged back the price — being cool just got a little more affordable too.
- One of the true Barossa icons, Grant Burge continue to produce great quality wines at a stunning price!
- 5 STAR James Halliday rated winery
- Shiraz at this price - what a deal!!
