Modest little variety, verdelho. The experts won't give it much
credit, unless it comes in the form of the legendarily long live fortifieds
from the island of Madeira, but in reality Verdelho a hugely versatile, very
drinkable little grape.
So if you're too cultured or sophisticated to drink a fresh, vibrant white
wine busting with lively tropical fruit characters then bugger off to some
other part of the site. But if you reckon wine should be about pleasure, not analysis, we might just have a little Verdelho something something for you.
