You know that moment when you feel like you really need to celebrate?
Not with the Aussie stuff that's grown in our far-flung vineyards, but the real deal. The gear that beret wearing winemakers put their baguette and cheese down for. The wine that you drink while walking up the Eiffel Tower. Yep, the fizzy stuff from the world's most famous wine region – Champagne.
Mumm Champagne has been around for a while too. It was established in 1827 by three brothers, and is famous for not only its superior quality, but for its bright red ribbon that stripes across their bottles. The Champagne is also renowned for that most significant moment – when the Formula One driver sprays Champagne everywhere after winning a Grand Prix; it's Mumm that is being used. But it tastes even better than it sprays.
The wine is produced to exacting standards from select premium vineyards and carefully fermented to achieve wines of superior elegance and style. They are regarded in the same kind of light as famous Champagne producers Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and Bollinger and are one of the largest Champagne producers and exporters worldwide.
The Cordon Rouge Non Vintage is Mumm's most famous wine. It is wonderfully complex, deeply flavoured Champagne that shows a fine balance between rich, toasty, honeyed characters and the vibrant freshness of the fizz. It is incredibly refreshing, yet each sip reveals a noticeable quality in the glass. And even though it's fantastic Champagne for celebrations, or any old day, it goes with snails and frogs legs too…

Fresh, golden yellow with hints of jade, the wines abundant bubbles, both fi ne and elegant, demonstrate the finesse of this champagne. |
|
| Nose |
Aromas of lemon and grapefruit, combined with the richness of firm, fl eshy fruits such as white peaches, apricots and tart apples bring freshness and liveliness to the wine. These are followed by hints of vanilla, enriched with caramel. Honeyed nuts also play their part. |
|
| Palate |
The bubbles are rich on the palate, but never overpowering. The perfect balance is combined with a rounded, full vinosity. The mix of fresh fruit and caramel aromas give even more intensity to the finish. This is a subtly balanced wine with a remarkable capacity to linger in the mouth. |

| Winery Information |
With a legacy of almost two centuries behind it the House of G.H. MUMM, established in 1827, still aspires to the original aims of the great Georges Hermann Mumm, one of the father figures of the House. His passion was to achieve the highest possible quality for G.H. MUMM champagnes: time after time he was heard to say Only the Best. In 1875, he decided to decorate each of his bottles with the prized Cordon Rouge or red sash of the Légion dHonneur, the
highest French civilian distinction, created by Napoleon I. Over and above the symbol of excellence that it represents, the Cordon Rouge embodies the true spirit that drives the House: the quest for perfection, a spirit of adventure and panache. The flagship Mumm Cordon Rouge Brut embodies the G.H. MUMM House style of freshness, elegance and power from the quality of the Pinot Noir in the blend. This style has been passed down from one cellar master to another since 1827 and our current cellar master, Didier Mariotti, continues this tradition today. |
