Fancy French Champagne. Yep, that’s Lanson.
For a Champagne producer founded in 1760, it’s come a long way from its first fizzes. Lanson has proven itself as wines of fine quality, sourcing fruit from over 100 selected growers to create their exacting range of fine Champagne.
Lanson also has a couple of claims to fame. Firstly, it is still one of the official providers of Champagne to the British Royal Family. So when Queen Elizabeth II clinks a glass with Prince Charles, it’s likely to be Lanson. Cheers Charlie! Secondly, Lanson actually displays the coat of arms of Lizzie on their bottles, a tribute to their enduring relationship.
Lanson Black Label Non Vintage is the high quality entry label wine from this fine Champagne house. It might not be used to spray wildly off winners’ podiums at sporting events, but it sure does taste good in the glass. It’s a vital and fresh style that shows some sweet fruit, nougat and nutty complexity. Elegant with a touch of richness. The wine sits in the same echelon as celebrated producers Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and Bollinger, continuing to show consistency and quality with their fine Champagne.
