A mix of decadence...
Well, well, well. What do we have here then? Looks like a classic top hat, tails and pocket watch kind of fancy moment. But look a little closer. Yep, that's right, some of Australia's premium wines bundled in with a bottle of fine French Champagne at a WineMarket kind of price. Big named wine brands, big discount. Nothing too fancy about that.
This mixed six-pack is a special selection of some of our most decadent, fine wines. We've managed to cherry pick from our warehouse and pack them together into a luxury pack that won't cause the credit card to spontaneously combust, but will deliver massive satisfaction for your drinking pleasure, or even work a treat as fancy gifts.
In the mix is the top wine from Coonawarra's award winning Katnook winery — the Odyssey (RRP $100.00) is famous for its long term cellaring and big, bold flavour. Then there is the highly prized Petaluma Coonawarra Red from 2003 (RRP $65.00) — a pre-cellared beauty from one of South Australia's most famous wineries.
We've also got a top wine from Dandelion Vineyards 'Red Queen Of The Eden Valley' Shiraz, which normally retails around $85.00, and the five star Halliday winery Langmeil with their sought-after Jackaman Cabernet (RRP $50.00). To round the red wines out we have Mount Langi Ghiran Shiraz 2007 (RRP $95.00) — one of Victoria's finest wines and a must have for cult wine collectors.
For a special moment, there is also a bottle of French Champagne from Lanson — it's their vintage Gold Label wine from 1998, a stunning Champagne of richness and amazing complexity (RRP $84.99).
Premium wine mixes may be an intimidating prospect for some — but WineMarket has made it easy. Here are six exceptional wines that would normally retail for just under $500, but we can offer for $299. Even if you only buy six fancy wines a year, there are few better deals on premium wines for you. We tip our top hats to you.

Katnook 'Odyssey' Cab Sauv 2007 (Coonawarra, SA)
The top of the Katnook range, sitting alongside the Prodigy in their Limited Release range. Rated as a top vintage. Award winner in International Wine Competition 2010, plus 96 Points from James Halliday, 94 Points from Campbell Mattinson and Gary Walsh. Alcohol 14.5%, cellaring 15-20 years.
Mount Langi Ghiran 'Langi' Shiraz 2007 (Grampians, VIC)
Another pinnacle wine. Top Gold winner and Gold medal winner and Royal Melbourne 2010 and 2008; plus 96 Points from James Halliday, 95 Points from Gary Walsh. Alcohol 14.5%, cellaring 20+ years.
Dandelion Red Queen Eden Valley Shiraz 2008 (Eden Valley, SA)
From up-and-coming boutique winemaker Elena Brooks, who has splashed onto the scene as one of Halliday's Top 10 New Wineries. 93 Points Nick Stock, 91 Points Robert Parker. Alcohol 15%, cellaring 10-15 years.
Petaluma Coonawarra Cab Merlot 2003 (Coonawarra, SA)
Petaluma is known for its iconic, elegant cool-climate whites and reds; and this well-rounded cab merlot is no exception. Alcohol 13.5%, cellaring 5-12 years.
Langmeil Jackaman Barossa Cab Sauv 2008 (Barossa, SA)
Langmeil are true Barossa born and bred, just the way we like it. Fine winemakers with a passion for the basket press and hand-picked premium grapes. There's more to the Barossa than just Shiraz, as this cab sauv amply proves. 15% Alcohol, cellaring 7-12 years.
Lanson Black Label NV French Champagne
If you're drinking wine of this calibre, chances are you always have a bottle or two of non-vintage French champagne ready for when the occasion (or menu) calls for it. Just because you need a reliable bubbles at-hand doesn't mean you have to go for the typical Moet or Veuve though.. branch out, mix it up, and find something new to pop your cork.
