Here's the kind of deal we're all about, the kind of deal you'd never get from the capital city big boys.
Wolf Viergerer is an old school Barossa grower with a beautiful old vineyard in the richly blessed dirt of the Barossa's north–west corner around Marananga, surrounded by the likes of Torbreck, Balthazar and several vineyards that regularly go into Grange.
Around here they call it ‘The Dress Circle’…and it's not because they're all transvestites…well not all of them…
Anyway, most of the fruit gets snapped up by his neighbours at Torbreck and we all know those boys know a bit about quality Barossa fruit. But a little is kept aside and is made for Wolf's own little label sold exclusively into the U.S. He keeps a thimbleful here for family and friends and we've been able to snap up the last few cases of the 2006 Lost Wolf Shiraz straight from his own cellar.
These are the kind of opportunities that get us really excited and they reason we started this business in the first place. The American's were paying almost sixty bucks a bottle for this…but it's yours at just $119.94 a six pack. That's virtually ‘buy two-get four free’.
That's a small price to pay for a wine laden with rich black fruit, licorice and spice and satisfyingly chewy tannins. Stocks are obviously limited. You really don't want to miss out.
