BINGO! Best buy 1/2 price Cab Sauv
No Sorby Adams isn't one of the missing members of the Adams Family.
The Uncle Fester of the wine world he ain't. Well to our knowledge anyway. Instead he is renowned as the man who put Yalumba's premium wine program back on track and in recent years set out alone to create his own high quality brand.
This super Cabernet comes from Sorby's select vineyards. It's a wine from a restrained and elegant winemaking year and it sings with quality fruit and mass appeal. Satiny tannins and sweet black berry fruit combine with bramble and gentle spice. Some serious oak lends a hand in the deal and the wine is a bingo! in anyone's world.
In a stroke of blind luck the warehouse packers lost a little stash, now our job is to clear the room for the new gear. Therefore, after a team meeting that involved wine and song, we at WineMarket decided to get out the sharpened pencils and go a little crazy on the discount. Cousin IT not included.

Sorby Adams' Cabernet Sauvignon vines grow in the district of Jellicoe, hence the name of the vineyard and the wine.
The Jellicoe vineyard sits in the Eden Valley 'Golden Triangle' at Mt McKenzie, famous for old vine Riesling and stylish Cabernet Sauvignon. The shallow gravelly soils, high altitude, cold wet winters and long temperate summers are ideally suited to growing aromatic whites and elegant reds. Approaching 30 years old, the Jellicoe vines are in their prime, producing intense fruit of superb quality. |
