Hardys The Pursuit Chardonnay 2015 (12 Bottles)
Heard Of Hardys? Course You Have! There's Good Reason For That...
Over 150 years making wine in OZ. Show some respect! If you want a maker who seriously knows what they're doing (why wouldn't you?) this has gotta be up there.
The Bottom Line
- Crisp, no-nonsense, and reliable as anything from an Aussie icon
- From one of Australia’s most trusted wineries
- Juicy fruit-driven goodness
A beautiful, aromatic, and oh, so slurpable Chardy from an iconic Australian producer - you're gonna wanna stock up on this one.
they're corked! Had to dig out the old rusting
wine opener and apply a little muscle.
Pity about the cork.
Why do some winemakers persist with this outdated closure?
To open this bottle I had to go and buy a corkscrew.
There is virtually no nose and the palate is very
broad and flat. The label boasts of the flavours of various stone fruit but this must refer to un-ripe fruit.
It would go well with extremely spicy food where the lack of flavour would not be noticed.
Was it a failed export or some such? The Pursuit title probably refers to the difficulty in finding buyers.
You'll love these too, have a look!
