A Big Top of Flavour

This saucy little Spanish Tempranillo walks a tightrope of complex and silky smooth flavours with the greatest of ease. It's full-bodied, gently floral, and full of fruit-bursting deliciousness.

The Bottom Line

  • Imported Spanish sipper for less!
  • Grown from vines in selected zones between 500 - 700m in elevation
  • 100% Tempranillo

Bring an exotic touch to the table - go with an old-world Tempranillo from Carinena D.O., Spain.

And hey - every wine we sell comes with a 100% money-back guarantee! Try two bottles out of the dozen, and if you're not in love with them, get in touch and we'll refund the entire case and come pick up the remaining 10 bottles for free. No risk, no nasty surprises!

"lacks any "punch""

Rather wishy-washy and lacking in flavour....but then I am unfamiliar with Tempranillo perhaps this is normal.

Bought in a mix of 14 reds. I avoid imports as I prefer

to support Aussie producers, but as there was only two

& I wanted to try most of the others, I made the purchase.

Not a style I would seek, but inoffensive enough to get

through the whole bottle.

As always a 20% voucher helps to tip me over the edge

when deciding whether to buy or not.

"On the lighter side"

Vintage: 2015

My second vintage of this wine and although its some time since the 2014 disappeared I think this is on the lighter side for a Spanish tempranillo. This said it offers good fruit and finishes nicely. A nice point of difference to a big Shiraz.

"Exceptional quality for the price"

Australian Tempranillo is seen as a filler to dilute the stronger reds. Spanish Tempranillo however is in a class of its own. Drink it chilled and wow, what a surprise

"Not for us"

After enjoying a cheeky little Tempranillo while in Canberra I was really looking forward to this one - but found it quite resinous. If it breaths for 24 hours it can improve. At bottle #5 I actually poured it down the drain (hey I tried).
